A parade, carnival games and rides were just a few of the things that you may have enjoyed if you attended the 2010 Essex Fun Fest this past weekend! Hundreds of people made their way through the Festival to partake in all of the great things that the annual event had to offer.
As always, we supplied the Town of Essex with the tents and portable washrooms helping to create the Festival that so many have grown to love. We erected our giant 60 x 150 tent for the always enjoyable beer tent. And what carnival is complete without a spectacular fireworks display to dazzle the crowd! Sunday night’s show didn’t disappoint! A perfect ending to another great summertime tradition!
The rain held off for Jobin Rock Farm’s Field Bash this past Saturday June 12, 2010. With over 1000 people in attendance, the annual Firefighter’s Benefit was a smash! Jammin’ out under Festival’s red and white band shell, Big Wiggle kept guests out of their seats and on their feet! Partygoers hung out under our giant 60 x 100 tent late into the night. A great time was had by all with money raised for an excellent cause! Be sure to check out the photos below.

Did you make it to Art in the Park this past weekend? Once again Festival was there providing Rotary 1918 and vendors alike with tents ranging in size from our small 10 x 10 tent up to our larger 60 x 70 tent. On its way to breaking attendence records on Saturday June 5th, Art in the Park, held at the beautiful Willistead Manor was a success. Guests were treated to beautiful artwork, handmade crafts and tasty treats, while children were able to enjoy the kid’s play area, presented by High Jinx, located under Festival’s 35 x 40 hexagon tent. On Thursday May 27th, 2010 Festival Tent & Party Rentals, located at 4595 County Road #46 in Maidstone, hosted a Windsor Executives Association (WEA) Open House. With an Asian inspired luncheon provided by Other Place Catering, just over 50 guests gathered under Festival’s white 35 x 40 hexagon tent to get a closer look at how the tent and party rental’s business, going strong since 1987, operates from day to day. Festival’s portable air cooling units worked to keep the attendee’s cool under the tent, while the Strawberry Daquiri and Pina Colada flavoured slushies whipped up in one of Festival’s slushie machines refreshed guests as they made their way through the shop on their guided tour.
While touring the business, guests were shown Festival’s newly renovated shop and kitchen facilities which house all of the tents, 100’s of both rectangular and round banquet tables, 1000’s of chairs available in four different styles, dishware, glassware, flatware as well as other items such as barbeques, chafing dishes and portable bars. Members of the WEA made their way to the office and show room which is where customer’s first come into contact with the Festival Team. Experienced event rental professionals are available to help clients with everything from choosing the right linen colour to the proper tent size for their party. Open House guests were able to listen in as the office staff worked with telephone customer’s to ensure a successful rental experience.
